This set for the 4x4 hoop contains 38 designs
and instructions for use as FSL or on fabric
"A design set should offer
options. And this set does just that. A FSL doily with 14 petals from
which to choose your favorite 10 petals or you could stitch it on
fabric by simply skipping color two. When stitching on fabric be sure
to slide another piece of fabric under your hoop before next to last
color for a finished back. Not just 6 sides for your bowl but 14 sides
to choose from. AND the option to skip color two and sew the designs
on fabric for a fabric bowl. AND the doily center makes a perfect
matching coaster. I have found if I do not totally rinse out my Solvy,
the pieces have body, sew together with ease and remain more stable
once the bowl or doily is complete. As these are realistic lighthouses
with many color changes, I used white bobbin throughout the design
except the last color (Border) which I used matching bobbin thread. I
used white fabric paint on the back side of the lighthouse for a
finished look on the lace. Doily petals and bowl sides are different
shape and do not interchange. Imagine a wind chime of the petals or
bowl sides fluttering in the breeze. What a perfect way to announce to
